Use the same Apple Account you used previously. If sign-in fails, close and reopen Akros, confirm that your network is available, and try again. Guest access is separate from a signed-in account and does not restore a subscription by itself.
Apple Health permissions
Open the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps and Services, Akros. You can grant or revoke each category independently. Akros reads only categories you approve for the dashboard and on-device Week Rescue evidence. Weekly aggregate processing has a separate disclosure under Settings, Data processing & consent. If you allow writes, Akros can save a completed strength workout, a bodyweight entry, and the positive nutrition values in a food entry after you log them. Akros does not invent workout calories.
Lab PDF import
Select a PDF no larger than 10 MB. Image files and scans saved only as photos are not accepted. Before a file leaves the device, Akros names the recipients and asks you to agree. The complete PDF passes through Akros on Amazon Web Services, is held temporarily in private Amazon S3 storage, and is sent to OpenAI's Responses API with store: false for extraction. Akros deletes its raw copy after success or failure when cleanup succeeds; abandoned uploads or cleanup failures have an automatic one-day expiration backstop. A failed extraction does not consume the included first successful extraction.
Unexpected lab values
Akros may misread a value or unit. Compare every normalized value with the original report before relying on it. Akros does not diagnose or interpret a result as medical advice. Contact your clinician for medical questions.
Subscription or trial
Akros purchases are handled by Apple. Free includes one complete useful Week Rescue cycle and the first useful briefing; later proposals remain free to generate, review, or decline. Pro unlocks accepting or modifying later useful proposals, continuing weekly briefings after the included first, private 26-week history and prior-briefing sharing, and additional successful PDF extractions. In Akros, open Settings, choose Akros Pro, then choose Manage in Apple Subscriptions. You can also use iOS Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions. Apple determines trial eligibility and shows the exact renewal date before purchase.
Restore purchases
Sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, open Akros Settings, choose Akros Pro, then choose Restore Purchases. Keep a network connection active. If access still does not return, include the product name and purchase date in your support request, but never send a receipt containing sensitive details.
Refunds
Apple controls App Store refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the Akros purchase. We cannot issue an App Store refund directly.
Export or delete your account
Open Akros Settings to request an export or start account deletion. Deletion has a 30-day recovery window. Signing in again during that window restores the account; after the window, Akros purges the account data. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel it separately in Apple Subscriptions.
Withdraw processing consent
In Akros, open Settings, then Data processing & consent, choose Apple Health processing or Lab-report AI processing, and select Withdraw consent. This blocks future transmissions for that scope but does not erase data already stored. Use Delete my account for deletion, and use the Health app to change Apple Health access separately.
